Enrique Rosell brings experience in arts philanthropy, cultural programming, and data-driven storytelling to Knight Foundation’s Arts team. He is passionate about supporting equitable access to the arts, uplifting community narratives, and leveraging strategic funding to amplify impact.

Before joining Knight, Enrique served as Grants and Development Manager at Miami Music Project, where he led fundraising and development strategy for a $3.7 million annual budget and secured over $3 million in multi-year funding to provide free music education for at-need youth across Miami-Dade County.

Previously, he was Program Manager for the Community Data Curation Mellon Foundation Grant at Florida International University’s Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab. In that role, he managed a $1 million grant across eight cultural heritage institutions, oversaw the oral history training and mentorship of student interns annually, and co-developed a public-facing digital archive focused on preserving South Florida’s cultural histories.

Enrique holds an MBA with a focus in Data Analytics and a B.A. in Communication Arts from Florida International University. Originally from Lima, Peru and raised in Miami from a young age, he brings a lived understanding of the city’s cultural richness and a deep-rooted commitment to uplifting its diverse communities.

Outside of work, Enrique is active in the local arts scene performing locally in an indie-folk band and capturing weddings on 16mm film video.
